Western Regional Mini Camp

Get ready to put your stunna shades on! We’re ready to make the 2009 WRMC even better than the inaugural camp last year. Located by the seashore in Marin, CA, WRMC will afford participants a relaxing chance to delve into the influences of media and forming our own individual perspectives on race, class, and international issues.

Leading the mini camp will be Chloe Chen (San Francisco), Phil Van Hoek (Dallas/Ft. Worth), Charlie Henry (Denver), and Tracey Fecher (Director). Junior Branch members will enjoy thought-provoking games and discussions looking at how popular culture and governmental messages influence our views on society, and how we can break free of stereotypical constraints by looking at things from different perspectives. There will be CISV games, songs and activities for all of those JBers wanting to relive the Village and other CISV experiences.
